Bio:

For 19 years I worked in the motion picture industry in the International Cinematographer’s Guild in the US. While I was primarily based in New York, I worked around the country, and in distant locations around the world.

As a freelancer, I was exposed to many different industries. This includes food, fashion, and music, I have worked on hundreds of TV commercials, over a dozen feature films, hundreds of music videos, and several episodic television programs, having spent equal amounts of time filming on location and in large studios.

The accessibility of high-quality production tools have allowed content creators to go beyond the confining roles of traditional filmmaking as crew members, as we no longer have to be specialized craftspeople with a narrow career path.

I was fortunate to gain my experience in the old paradigm as a cameraman, as I was well positioned to embrace the content revolution we are still living through today.

My experience as the owner of a small video production company in New York gave me the opportunity to understand the needs of companies and help them to tell their stories. We made WordPress websites, created videos, and produced tons of social content.

This experience opened the door to writing proposals for new projects, writing scripts and budgets, producing, filming, and editing all projects.
